"When we collided" is an installation that explores the encounter of various natural and synthetic elements, resulting in the formation of a new entity or connection. The installation comprises casted sculptures made from a mix of materials such as plaster, earth pigments, resin, and metal dust. These sculptures are placed on the floor and used as a projection surface for an animation depicting a tidal wave.

The footage for the animation was filmed at Marina State Beach in California and subsequently manipulated using computer editing programs to alter its shape, speed, and colour and is accompanied by the sound of synthetic violins, creating a multi-sensory experience for the audience.

The concept behind "When we collided" revolves around the juxtaposition of natural and artificial elements, exploring how their convergence can give rise to new forms, connections, or experiences. The combination of physical sculptures with a dynamic animated projection and synthetic sound provokes thought and emotional responses from the viewers, inviting them to contemplate the interplay between nature and technology, as well as the potential for synergy and transformation when disparate elements come together.
